My Sweet Little Sister

I am amazed how intellectual my little sister is. She is the sweetest sister anyone can have and for that I am proud... very proud of her. One time she asked me to check out her FS account for she had something for me there and when I did, I found these creations attached below. My heart just melted right there and then.

Alexia May is only 9 years old and yet she thinks like a responsible adult already. She is simply a typical little girl but then knows how to make her big sister feel her compassionate love by sending me those sweet I-LOVE-YOUs over the internet! I love you too day Alex, I hope you won't change that you will stay loving and sweet as you are.

Something In My Chest

...that is bugging me for weeks now. I am heavily burden inside and that I need to let it out or else I'll explode. I feel like I can't carry it any longer. God knows for certain how I regret it all yet I am being firm to myself... that never..never will I take the first step... I am so stubborn I know!

Not a single day pass by me I am not thinking of what I should do about this inorder to lighten up my heart of this heavy load I am carrying a little bit. Somehow waiting... waiting for that perfect time when all is good and back to normal... just like before... the way things were... longing for those days where laughters and craziness were heard and done. SIGH.. life's like that.. in tagalog ANG BUHAY AY WEATHER WEATHER LAMANG! Balo oi!

Couldn't Get Through!!

I was about to quit trying my very best on PLDT website after a hundred attempts paying my family's DSL internet bill in the Philippines since last night, I got fed up and told myself this is ridiculous, I have enough of it and gonna close the website for good when it suddenly directed me to my paypal account ready to pay for the amount owed.

I should say the website is very slow, not working effectively and not capable of handling tons of customers paying their bills online. What can I do? There is no sense in complaining it to the customer service as they don't value their customer's emails. I've done that twice already and nothing happened. Hence, I should just be patient though for it is almost the end of the month, it is expected that people all over the world are making transactions on PLDT site.

The Advantage of Having Internet Connection

Internet has a great impact to our lives nowadays. It makes the world grow smaller by just a click of a mouse of your fingertips we are able to communicate from people who are thousands of miles apart from us. It plays a vital role here in the US for people are using it in so many ways. Paying online bills and online shopping are just few of the benefits we can get out of using the internet.

So I never regret I applied for internet connection for my family in the Philippines when I went for vacation last February of this year. It has only been three months since I've last seen my family. Like my brother's girlfriend, she was still pregnant during my vacation and she now has a healthy baby boy named Julian(a combination both of their names Juliet and Brian).

Now there is no better way to connect with my loved ones than voice chatting and video conferencing. I get to see their pretty smiles and faces whenever we want to. Unlike before, I call them through international call and our bill was chokingly high. But today, our bill is just half of what I am paying now. I am the one paying their PLDT internet usage online you know? Using the telephone isn't good enough for I can only hear them talking but not actually seeing their facial expressions live. Ten Minutes From Now

...the premier show of So You Think You Can Dance will begin and I am waiting for it. They are gonna be showing the long line of young crowd for the audition. Audition is the part that I like to watch when it comes to shows like Dancing or American Idol for I can get to see different kinds of people with different talents and characteristics. Some would force themselves to face the judges on the stage even if they know they can't dance only to bring fun or make themselves looking like an idiot in front of the national television.

However though I thank them for joining because they really really make me laugh. I just don't understand why the nerve they want to be in the competition while in fact they don't know how to dance. I shall end this posting right now and hurry to the living room!

Expiring Soon

I had my laptop fixed a month ago and all of my files stored in it were all wiped out. They had to put a new OS software of this computer inorder to fix the major damages like the microphone as well as windows updates. Now it is working like new but I lost my anti virus that was installed in my computer.

Instead, they give me a month of free trial usage of Norton and now it is about to expire in 6 days. When it does and I still not able to install my original anti viruses software my computer will be vulnerable to worms and virus that I can probably pick up during surfing or dropping ECs. I hope I can be responsible in installing PC Cillin back to my laptop before something bad happens to it.

Weirdo Adam Lambert Did Not Win

Thankfully America didn't allow the weirdo guy Adam Lambert to be this season's winner of American Idol. Too many weird people performing before the crowd nowadays and if he won, he'll be another addition to them. Way to go Kris Allen!! I am sure your family, relatives and friends are very happy and proud of you. Looking forward to your first single then as an official singer in music industry.

Sorry to the fans of Lambert though for I really don't like him, his looks from the start of the show. Why would a guy wear eye liner/ pencil or what ya call it and wear black nail polish if he's a guy? He will only do it unless he's gay? hahahaha how sad!

American Food Tonight

I was gonna feed my baby with rice and "utan bisaya" but to my dismay I found out I already ate it all. I was kind of panicking what to give her for dinner because I don't feel like cooking something tonight, it's late and I don't wanna waste my energy cooking for food. Also earlier, I had too many things that linger in my mind, opps need to be done for instance and had to really feed my baby real quick.

Good thing though that my husband still have some of his boiled potatoes stocked in the fridge and I remember one time he told me that our baby liked eating this kind of food, American food that is. So I asked him what to put in mashed potatoes so to make it appealing to the taste buds and he told me to just put some sour cream and butter in it.

Yes, a quick dinner for Jadyn is what I made and she likes it a lot. No need to force to eat dinner for she is the one asking for more spoonful of the so called American Food kuno!

Geeezzz here's another temptation that I know of. I just received a Victoria's Secret semi annual sale catalog today but I didn't even take a second opening it for I know already what's in there. Fashion, clothing, nice discounted dresses, brassieres and summer clothes are up on sale up to 50% off.

The other day a Body Central catalog arrived in the mail. Hmppp as if these companies are trying to temp me with their big big sale event. I know myself, if I want it I would buy one and yet if I am not interested no matter how discounted the item is, I wouldn't waste a penny for it.

From My Hardwork

Where did my blogging money go? As a good example to my family and as a responsible daughter and sister to them, I am sending my financial aid to the Philippines monthly. It is a filipino tradition to be helpful of the poor family back home. Let's just say it is my way of thanking my parents and returning the favor they have done to me, by raising me to be a better person that is. I am helping them in my own will not depending on my husband for it.

It feels good to be able to help my family since I'm the one who has everything therefore, it is righeous to share my blessings to them. After all, they are my blood and my source of courage when my ride here go a little bumpy.

Some would turn down blogging as my means of income but little do they know I make money as much as people do working outside having bosses bitching around. Yes you may hear me always talking about money but what is wrong with that? Who doesn't need it anyway. Unless of course you are rich then money for you is like a toy, spend here and there without worrying of losing it.

Premiere of The Bachelorette Last Night!

The most anticipated reality show of the year had started last night, The Bachelorette! Jillian Harris, 29 year old from Vancouver, Canada already sent 10 guys home! Wow this is going to be another kilig episode for there are 20 hunk guys she is going to be spending time until the next rose ceremony.

I tell you what? I feel so over kilig watching them all. Most numbers of bachelors are from Texas! So what's up Texan men? Well, in fairness they are looking sizzling hot huh especially the one from Austin named Wes and Tanner P from Dallas. I have read on the magazine that Texas came number 2 on the list as to where to find gorgeous Bachelors in America.

Movie Time Is Family Time

Ok gotta do this one last post for tonight real quick. We are about to finish watching the movie from last night's. I am pleased to know that me, my husband and the baby can get to spend time every night together as a family by watching a movie before going to bed.

You Should Spend Your Summer at the Beach

Where Should You Spend Your Summer?

Going to the beach is definitely where I want to spend my summer. If you have been following my posting in all my blogs, all I have been talking in there is getting in the pool or sea water which I missed the most. My skin is naturally tan in color but I'm not afraid of getting dark so long I can enjoy the soothing feeling that sea water gives me. I want to go to the beach, do you hear me??? Unfortunately though we are way too far from the beach here. About six hour drive from where we live!!! Tsk tsk tsk!

Weaning and Guilty

We received a long lecture as our punishment ( that's what my husband thought) from our baby's pedia when he brought her to the clinic last week. He asked us if Jadyn is drinking whole milk in a sippy cup now and I said, no formula in a bottle. He was kinda shocked when I told him that. So the long lecture began that it's not good, that we are late of taking the bottle away from our baby for three months, that it can cause ear infection blah blah blah and so on!

After that incident we tried very hard not to give Jadyn her bottle anymore even if she was not doing well with her eating at that time since she was sick. When she goes to sleep, she cries and asking for mamama...mamamama( means wanting her bottle of milk) but I resist. Honestly, it cuts my heart. She just look so poor doing that.

Today I am so feeling guilty, husband is not here and what am I doing? Sneaking a 4 ounces of milk formula and take note in a bottle and give it to my baby just to keep her quiet in the crib. She missed it I can tell. She grabbed it right away and suck! Hohohoho I am bad... I am so bad for not following the rule!

Because She Had A Long Nap

It is past midnight already and all three of us are still wide awake. My baby most especially is still alive. I shouldn't be surprised though because she had a long nap this afternoon. I put her in her crib at 4:30 and slept until 7:00 pm. Now that is a bit older she only takes one nap in a day.

Unlike before she reached this stage, she used to take three naps/day but shorter hours. She would sleep in 30 to 45 minutes each nap. Oh yeah enough rambling here. I should finish this real quick so I can get ready for bed. Goodnight everyone!

Bee(sy) Day For Me

I don't know how my day went so busy today while it is no ordinary day compare from the previous day. Yesterday was so easy for me, in fact, I was able to enjoy my magic sing for over two hours.

Today otherwise is so tiring. I did try to relax for an hour but I couldn't. I started singing while doing the laundry but then I just can't concentrate on my job since I had to get up a couple times each time the washing machine drains the water. Drainage is still clogged up therefore I need to help it so to keep the water from flooding our bathroom.

Then lunch time came and I didn't have something to eat. The big calvary of cooking sets in. While doing so I was also feeding/looking after my baby at the same time. When she began holding the food in her mouth I decided to shower her so she can sleep and I can take a break. That happened according to my will that is why I'm now on my computer, not to relax but to do my opps!

I Missed The Raining Opps

Earlier today I kept refreshing the money making websites hoping that I can get atleast an opp or two to write but somehow it wasn't my lucky hours for that. I decided to get up and do my chores to not waste my time getting nothing in the internet.

I just got back here only to find out that triple P gave out so many opps worth five bucks each that I missed. Darn it, just when I am ready to grab for possible opps that is when the site stopped giving them out.

Picky Eater

I always have a fight with my baby everytime I feed her. As she enteredthe toddler stage of her life she became picky when it comes to eating food. She dislike eating vegetables although she likes fruits but it would also be good if she can eat vegetables.

We went to the pedia last Friday and he told us- parents that we don't need to force the baby to eat, she will eat once she is hungry but that doesn't work for me. I want my baby to eat her meal on time to avoid being sick, you know filipinos believe-- mapasmo daw? I hope she is over this dilemma and eat very well because it worries me so much. The only thing that can make me happy right now is for my baby to eat a lot of food everytime.

Live On Webcam

This is the actual shot of me and my baby voice chatting with her uncle in the Philippines moments ago. Through YM we are able to see my family back home and vice versa. Doing the chatting also saves me a couple dollars in my monthly billing since I only paid in pesos amount for their PLDT bill for unlimited internet connection.

Unlike before I used Nickeltalk that cost me 45 bucks per month, I can only hear them talking but we/they can't see our faces on the cam. Alakansi kow!

Fresh And New EC Cards

...give me encouragement to seriously do my EC dropping everyday. It is just so flattering seeing them in my dashboard and for that I am happy. People, here's one thing I can assure you once you drop your EC to mine that I will return back the hit you give me. Pwamis you that.

Non-Stop Talker

I remember one night when I was watching American Idol that one of the contestants was saying when she was a little child, her mother actually consulted a doctor if there is something wrong with her child because she constantly keep talking. And the doctor said to the mother that her child is gonna be a singer one day. There she is right now, still in the competition of AI and yes she definitely sings good.

Our baby is doing the same thing too. Upon waking up in the crib the first thing she does is open her mouth, talk her language that only she can understand non-stop in about a minute. When she enjoy playing also, she loves to act like she is talking to another person. I tell you what, when you listen to her nagpinakatay sulti, you will be amazed because she sounds like she is not breathing unless she is done talking. I can't do that. Buy Jadyn is wonder child kay yakang yaka ra jud niya.

Hayyzz baby ko makalingaw na kaayo. Thanks for coming into our life and making this family a complete one.

Going For A Birthday Party

Despite of the fact that I am feeling a little unwell and gloomy weather here in our place, it will not stop me or my friend from traveling atleast an hour away from here just to attend Freddie's 5th birthday party. I just like this boy so much that I wouldn't wanna miss this big event to pass.

I blog about Freddie in my other blog titled This Sweet Little Boy just so you know that I love this little guy so much for various reasons. It's gonna be a long drive but I wouldn't mind that as long as I can be there on occasions like these.

My husband and I both agreed that I will just leave our baby with him to be safety. Being in a big gathering at this moment isn't safe, swine flu can be anywhere and I don't wanna risk my baby's health. I love her too much that if as much as possible I'd love to see her healthy and happy all the time.

The Reality Is Here

Nothing is stopping my ex-cousin from coming to America now that she will have her interview at the US Embassy this 6th of May. For that even though we had a terrible fight last two weeks, I still wish her goodluck so she will see what living in America is like when there are no friends, no relatives, no family and most of all no familiar faces to talk and see everyday of her life once she gets her.

She alienated herself from me since my last visit in my country and nothing I can do with that. The reality is here and I am hoping someday she will realize how tough living with no one to laugh with, rely on in this strange cold world. Though she has her husband around that wouldn't be enough to completely overcome the homesickness and other adjustments that she has to do in the future.

I've been in the situation where I felt like I was going crazy, often find myself crying for no reason when my husband left for work. I reinforce myself by going home just even before I reached one year in USA just to ease the loneliness I felt at that time. Thankfully I have my baby now that keeps me occupied during the day and of course, homesickness vanished. I should say I am well settled now.

Huh she thinks she knows what life is all about from afar, we will see if dili siya mangapa kapa mangita ug katabi. I know she expects a "bed of roses" kind of life here but good luck to her if her expectations turn out to be totally different from her thinking.
