Sleek and sassy is how I describe this handbag on the left. For two days now, I can't take my eyes off it. I am drooling over this purse here eh. It's been a while since I last purchased a handbag and I so miss having a new one in my closet.

My mind and budget are debating whether to buy this one or not while it's on sale at Macy's. It was originally priced at $88 down to 49 bucks now. What do you think guys? Should I get it or just let it slip through my fingers???

Children's Party

Here's our kiddos during Amber's 2nd birthday held last Sunday. I am glad I bought my girl to the party as she was able to mingle and play with other kids in DFW area. The party was a success, I should say. They served plenty of food there, a lot of people attended that made it awesome especially the kids. Such a joy watching our kids playing and having fun together in Amber's bedroom as if it was a mall's play area. My baby girl wasn't ready to go home yet, in fact she wanted to stay there longer but we had to go anyway, it was getting late plus we needed to drive half an hour to go home.

There are two upcoming birthday party invitations for next month and I haven't decided which birthday should I go to. Ah I shall see if my husband doesn't have any commitments during those days so I can assure the hosts that I can be there.

Our PS3

We have our PS3 for three years now and since the day we bought it, there never be a single problem with it. I am glad my husband bought it for us to use for it gives us a magnificent crystal clear pictures for our movies. Of course it wouldn't give us that output if we don't use a blu-ray DVD too. I feel fortunate to be able to afford anything we want to buy. A PS3 is something that is in my cousin's wishlist last Christmas and the thought for having it makes me glad for I don't have to put it in my list.

Banana Dog

I saw this cool piece of art when we had a walk at downtown Benicia last Sunday. This was displayed outside the Arts Center in one of the buildings in that place. It caught me and Jadyn's eyes that we even stopped for couple of minutes just to make a thorough look at this work of art. Whoever made this did an excellent job. Beautiful banana dog, isn't it?

So Hot

I went outside this morning but I didn't stay long. I wouldn't go out if I have no important things to do but I did anyway to water the flowers in our front yard. They are wilting for they have not been watered for 5 days. Even if it was only at ten in the morning, the heat was almost bearable.

Hmmm Texas weather! I hate it to be honest for it gives me headache when I am exposed to the heat for long hours. Seems like I am not the only one complaining the heat, like everyone else they too wanting to cool off a little bit. The only thing that can help us deal with this heat is an occasional rain in Summer.

My husband's office furniture right now is a piece of trash. It's a very old desk he is using for we are waiting for that perfect timing when we are able to buy him his new desk. Well, we have enough time to browse for different designs or shapes that would perfectly fit in our study room. An Old Classmate

One of the many people I just got reconnected on Facebook is a woman in her mid 30s who was my caregiving classmate way back 2005. I found her through my friend's list and requested an add so we could reconnect. Thankfully, she added me but I was a bit disappointed with her because she acted as if she didn't know me or she probably just forgot how we met before. But anyway, I sent her a message asking how she's been doing and she replied me asking where I came from.

Silly girl. She didn't know that we belong in the same class before and that we used to hang out every break time. I then told her my last name as I was known in UHA of my married name that is when she remembers me. We exchanged e-mails a while and we talked about the kind of job she's doing in Canada. She works as a caregiver there although she is a certified nurse in the Philippines.

I told her how my life have been in the states too and at one point I told her that I am going back to school someday and go to a medical assisting school. From caregiving dream I used to have now shifted to work as a medical or dental assistant in our area. I guess this kind of job will be easier for me. Of course that will only be fulfilled once my kids are in school. In the mean time, I just have to be happy being a stay-at-home mom for my family.

Sour Mangoes

Here's for pregnant and non pregnant women. Sour raw mangoes for you all. I snagged this from Jaja's album on facebook because I want others to drool over these mangoes too. For two nights I kept staring at this picture and I can't seem to contain my eyes with it. I so want to eat mangoes like that in the picture dip in shrimp paste. Hmmmm freshly picked from the tree are these that make me drool even more, surely they're crunchy. I wish I can have a lot of mangoes when in the Philippines...

I like the way the houses are arranged in every neighborhood I have seen in the US. Each block have the same number of houses built each with corresponding

House Numbers clearly marked in their house or paved along the curb or near the driveway. I like it this way, it is so neat and organized. Easier for a person to find your address or house number if you need someone to come over your house.

Other house owners would put an Address Plaque visible to the road and I think that is a good idea. Business establishments too use plaque addresses and building or suite number for easy location.

Unlike the Philippines, in the slum urban areas there is no way you can find the house you'd like to go because it is so congested there, there is almost no room for you to walk in the neighborhood for every space they find, they build a shack in it.

Well, it the way it is there. But there are also nicer neighborhoods out there, the ones that are in compounds or in subdivision as we call it there. They do have their houses numbered and name of streets that you can easily identify where your friend lives.

Pigtails

I am glad baby girl loves the pigtail style for her hair. It's annoying to see her hair falls down to her eyes and mouth when I'm feeding her. The little girl doesn't seem bothered with her hair but I am. It was Marcella who started doing pigtails to her and that's what I do now to keep Jadyn's hair from eyesight.

I like it that way for it looks neat and comfortable.

Coffee Is The Reason

I woke up kinda late this morning because it took me two hours before I could put myself to sleep last night. The family was finally in bed at past 1. The two of them were already snoring while on the other side of the bed, I wished that I could be like them, once the back hit the bed I sleep right away but that was not the case for me last night.

Coffee is the reason. After a hundred tossing and turning positions my mind seemed defeated and went to dreamland. I knew that's gonna happen after pouring a little bit of coffee into my morning drink. Once I have coffee in my system it is expected to affect my sleep big time even though I only had it yesterday morning.

I don't know what time was that all I know is that I had a few hours of sleep. Woke up at 7 in the morning to go to the bathroom and fortunately, I slept some more but still it wasn't enough. Guess I will be cranky all day long today.

Staycations

Have you ever heard of the word staycations? When I first heard of it I thought it was cute but didn't really know what this means. Staycations means you are on vacation but you are not going somewhere else but stay at home. Whoever invented that word, hat's off for him because it is too cute.

Anyway, I am talking about staycations because I feel I always I'm on vacation. I need a new place to see, a new environment to enjoy life with my family even for just a short period of time. I wished I could go to the beach and rent one of the villa rentals that are available in a specific place I dreamed of visiting.

If you are a stay at home mom just like me, I guess you know the feeling of being always in the house. It is tiring sometimes and I know you can somehow relate to that. I so love love love love to go home now. Home for me is visit the Philippines and be with my family and friends once again. It would be so cool to have fun at the beach with them. I miss them so much now.

Counting The Months And Days

There are so many things to look forward to this year. These are not just small things but major things indeed. I can only hope they are going to happen as planned. I am waiting for my citizenship to be done, we are trying to conceive to our second baby, total home renovation (that requires a fair amount of money to replace the roof, windows, floors, replacement of new A/C unit, outside and inside wall painting, building a back porch etc.) and most of all my most anticipated home coming visit later this year. I am only 4 months away to fulfilling the biggest event in my life. Visiting my home country again is like a dream come true- just like how I felt when I first step foot in American land four years ago.

These are some things I so anxious to do. Hopefully, God permits and everything is cool. He's the only one that knows what's best for me and for us so I trust it all to Him. Ah thinking all these things and how blessed I am having such a wonderful family keep me sane.

Bad Back

I love watching news of any sort. I am glad I have these two news channels that I tune in every mid day. Health news is really important to me to be updated of the latest technology in the US as well as the updates on keeping our health good all the time.

I've talked to my male cousin a long time ago and since that chat of ours talking about putting up his own business specifically selling gadgets and electronics in the Philippines. We might have to think what to do with them but for now, I am glad we now live in our own house.

She Captured Her

I hate it when Jadyn is playing with our digital camera for she is the reason why we broke the record of wasting 5 cameras in total for the past years. If I don't break it, she will.

This afternoon she got a hold of my camera while I was in the kitchen. I didn't know she had it until I noticed the flash all over the living room. Silly girl, she took time clicking and clicking the camera with no object at all. When I inserted the chip to my computer, I found only three photos taken by her, two were junks and this one attached here.

I didn't delete it because it's a sweet picture of our dog taken by Jadyn randomly. As you can see the doggy was caught in action walking towards the t.v. Cute, isn't she?

For My Siblings

I grew up poor. I didn't have anything I wanted. I couldn't have anything I needed so I learned to be tight whenever I have money. No matter what the amount is, I save it. I would only spend if I really have to.

One of the things that I so wanted to buy was a an id holder or anything that could securely hold my id on to my uniform so I won't lose it. But I graduated highschool I couldn't get a decent thing.

I got three siblings who are in school right now. For sure, they are thinking the same way as I did before. I know deep in their innocent minds, they also want something that can stand the test of time, Lanyards and

Spoiled Brat

We have a spoiled brat dog named Chichai. She came to us when she was only two weeks old. At that time she arrived, she wasn't potty trained yet so we had to do all the training ourselves. It took her a while to get used to peeing and pooping outside using the doggy door. I would never to ever go back to where I needed to fix her mess from time to time because it was such a job for me to do knowing that I also had a newborn baby two months after the puppy was with us.

As a puppy, Chichai was so charming and very cute. We felt like she was the cutest puppy anyone can have. We took care of her, we bought her expensive dog food - a

puppy food to be exact, provide her water, treats, give her vaccinations and vitamins. All that just for our little dog. When she grew a little bit, it was then when we switch to a different kind of dog food, the best dog food you can find on the market. Of course you know, we want the best for our dog. Naks, she is just a dog yet she cost us tons of money already.

Stir-Fry Vegetables Seafood Flavor

I craved for Chinese stir-fry vegetable but I couldn't get it when I went out with friends yesterday. Although I had chickem teriyaki that somehow didn't satisfy my craving.

So today, since I got all the vegetables needed, I decided to cook my own stir-fry. The result is so tasty and I am happy. I was able to feed my hungry stomach and guess what? I still have some of the veggies left for the next meal.

Self Consolation

I am so glad that this blog is now back on PAYU's system. I promise that I will not put this blog in other paid blogging sites anymore as there are no more good offers at this current economic situation. Anyway, what I want to write right now is that I feel like I am less fortunate of all bloggers here because I don't receive much tasks like most bloggers I know. Extra Shade

We need an extra shade so that my husband's sports cars can be safe from damaging hail or other types of weather. Right now they are just sitting outside with no shade at all for our garage is still full of boxes and other stuff from our moving last year. It's just there is nowhere to put them for now. We got our things and his dad's stuff altogether so you just imagine a stuff equivalent to two houses occupying three spare rooms including the garage. With the use of metal buildings which I am looking at right now, if we can get one of these, we will have an extra space or a place to put those cars safely. Now I know where to find for a metal building. I just have to give the website to my husband so he can browse on the products when he arrives home tonight.

Fireworks Display

These are some photos I captured during the fireworks display in down Fort Worth in celebration of 4th of July last night. It would have been nicer if I had a superb camera to use in capturing those beautiful and colorful fireworks in the sky. It was my first experience watching closer to the fireworks display of my four years here in the states because my husband usually work during those past holidays.

I am glad we went there because the baby was able to see how amazing that was. I also have a video footage of it, I may have share it here later but first I need to upload it on youtube.

Wish I Could Do Something

Another month has passed by and I accomplished nothing. We are now the second day of July and I feel like the most useless person in the world. I am getting bored and tired of my life. My daily routine is get up from bed, do the computer while sipping my warm milk in the morning, cook brunch, feed the baby, more computer for long hours, go take an afternoon nap, wake up computer and eat again, take a shower, watch t.v/movie and go to bed to sleep...argssssss.

I want to do something new, something different that could change my routine. It is sooooo tiring keep doing all those. I posted my rant about this on FB yesterday and one of my commenters saying that it is probably time for another baby to keep me occupied during the day.
