Tailgating Recipes

Gosh I am starving right now, I cooked early so we can eat early but I am delaying eating because of some tasks I need to finish. Meanwhile, I also browsing for different recipes and then I chanced this site that shows tailgating recipes. Makes me drool and to think that I craved for burgers and other American foods for so long. It is such a torture for myself. Gotta grab a burger or two today or I'll be upset if I won't be able to do that. Simple cravings that I cannot eat sometimes it sucks!

After looking at clear TV packages I decided to bundle my services and use their television. I am glad that I did because now I only have one bill to deal with and actually ended up saving myself a lot of money each month. I save enough money every month that I can spend it on one of my favorite things that I quit doing when my parents cut me off. I used to like to get my nails done every two weeks. It costs about forty-five dollars. When I got on my own, and wasn’t getting any help from my parents, there are places that I was forced to cut back. 

Personal grooming was one of them. Not that I don’t tend to my nails, but I started to learn to do them myself. I could get all of the supplies that I needed to do my nails for a lot less than it cost me every week to get my nails done. Problem is, that my nails would always chip after the first day I painted them. When I saved the money by bundling, that was the first thing that I wanted to do. It just makes me feel so much better about myself!

Something Fishy

I have had these dishes few days ago. As soon as it cooked, I posted these photos in my food album on Facebook and got a lot of people drool over these delicious fish recipes I have. These are perfect in cold weather especially the soup. Foods like these are what many of my friends crave for. 

I consider myself lucky to have found this kind of fish at the Asian market. This is something I missed a lot because of its taste and texture of the flesh when it is cooked.

Pretty Looking

So I wrote in my other blog about our dreams for our kids. The husband wants our first born to join Kung Fu and I and him also want our child to learn how to play any musical instruments. She has choices, it is either we enroll her to a tutorial center to learn how to play the guitar or the keyboard. If she chooses the guitar over the keyboard, it is fine too as it is equally nice to listen to from the rest of the instruments you can think of. We already have a guitar that my husband bought during his first visit to my home country 7 years ago but if Jadyn can play a guitar someday, maybe her dada would buy her this kramer pacer classic as an upgrade to what she already has. It is very nice looking and pretty!

I considered myself a lucky shopper when I went to Macy's last weekend and found such a beautiful 2 piece-set Christmas dress for my little Pearl. It was a good timing to be going there because of such great discount I got for the dress for next Christmas. Wow! When the occasion comes I don't have to worry about shopping for my little baby since she already got one at a very low price.

Woman and The Kitchen

The heart of the house is the kitchen where a woman usually spends most of her time cooking palatable dishes for the family. Most women want a bigger space, new and the latest kitchen appliances. This was my wish months ago for our kitchen showed signs of being old fashion. When we had the kitchen remodeling, I couldn't be more happier and excited because I knew the result will be amazing and I was right.

Now it's not just me enjoying the new look and light color cabinets and drawers, the new greenish blue counter tops but also my husband. He must agree with me that our kitchen is now looking beautiful more than ever with brand new stainless steel appliances, who doesn't want to cook and cook everyday? I love everything in the kitchen from the counter tops, cabinets to the appliances and the fresher look it gives to the old house. Next project will be to change the old floor into a bamboo flooring and paint the dark wood paneling of the wall. I know it will take a while because there are more important projects need to be done in this house but eventually we will get there.

Homemade Pizza

I always prefer preparing our own food at home, this way I can make sure what goes into my food and I can choose any stuffing for our pizza. 

This is the first big pie of pizza I made although the crust is ready made bought from the store. I stuffed it with mushrooms, pepperoni, red bell pepper, pizza sauce and mozzarella shredded cheese! I didn't put any seasoning to it nor a pinch of salt that kinda taste arggggggg lol...

Got Her GPS Stolen

GPS is one of the hottest gadgets nowadays that if you mistakenly leave it in your car and park your car outside the store, guaranteed your car will be broken into and get the GPS just like what happened to my friend months ago. She went to Walmart and forgot to hide her GPS that was on the dashboard, when came back it was gone and her window was broken. Not only she lost her GPS but she also had to fix the broken window which probably cost more than the cost of the stolen GPS. Anyway, she can always replace her GPS with a tomtom gps so there is no worry about that.
