Do you know that American silver eagles are the official silver bullion coins of the United States? They have a face value of one dollar usual trades at a percentage above spot silver price and they were first released in 1986. If you would look at closely at those coins, you will see the feature of the Walking Liberty design which was believed to be originally used between 1916 and1947 on the obverse of the half-dollar coin.
