Co-opting

Guest post written by Patty Rose

At first I thought that the idea of working for a few hours every month at my grocery store was a little weird. But my husband wanted to join this co-op so badly that I agreed. But it ends up that we’ve made a few friends out of it and I’ve come to enjoy my monthly time at the store.
I guess that my apprehension was probably because I didn’t really understand how and why a co-op worked then. Now I don’t think that I could ever go back to grocery shopping at a regular chain again. One of the women that I usually team up with for our monthly hours of either bagging groceries or doing paint touch-ups was telling me last month that she had just got an invisible hearing aid and she was right! If she hadn’t said anything about hearing devices, I wouldn’t have guessed that she was wearing one.
That spurred me to look up hearing aids san antonio and consider getting some. I’m still in research mode, but am thinking that I might end up feeling similarly about them as I do about co-ops now.
