At Home With My Family

In this cold dark night all we could do is be ourselves, do the things we like to do. I'm here in my computer, Jadyn is going round and round in the bedroom listening to her dada's loud music and hubby is working on the doors, putting them up and installing new henge. Times like these should be appreciated for we are all home united as a family.

Though it is kind of slow night for me, somehow thankful enough for my lovely family being together. Nothing is more important in this world for me but seeing my family happy and healthy all the time.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs

I had so much fun watching this movie titled Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs last night. Even my baby stayed with us until the movie ended. She seldom stay awake for the entire time the movie is playing but last night she made it through. I thought the movie was so cool for it rained with lots and lots of food through the invention of this little gadget sent up above.

As the movie's tag line : Prepare to be served. That alone should give you an idea of what the movie is all about.

Synopsis here:

In 2009, Columbia Pictures' and Sony Pictures Animation's "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" will be the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese. Inspired by the beloved children's book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain. Bill Hader will voice Flint Lockwood, a young inventor who dreams of creating something that will improve everyone's life. Anna Faris takes on the role of Sam Sparks, a weathergirl covering the phenomenon who hides her intelligence behind a perky exterior. James Caan plays Tim Lockwood, Flint's technophobic father. Andy Samberg plays Brent, the town bully who has plagued Flint since childhood. Bruce Campbell plays Mayor Shelbourne, who figures out that Flint's invention can put the town, and more importantly himself, on the map. Mr. T plays the by-the-rules town cop Earl Devereaux, and Tracy Morgan takes on the role of Earl's rule-breaking son, Cal. [D-Man2010]

The timeless tale has been adapted from Ron and Judi Barrett's book, which illustrates a world where giant pancakes and pasta fall from the sky as a scientist tries to solve world hunger. However, things go terribly wrong when excess amounts of food overload cities and towns. [D-Man2010]

Long Walk Today

We just got home from an hour-long walk around the neighborhood. My baby fell asleep while on the jogger while I was trying to find our way back home. I didn't know I went too far beyond from the familiar streets. At first I only turned around one block from our house then went to see the pond and the ducks.

I really didn't plan of going too far and decided to go just another block then come back home. To my surprise, I found an entry way at the end of the street we went to and saw the repair shop ahead so I went on and glad to see the highway. After spending few minutes of walking along the highway, I went inside the village with the idea in mind of going back home as soon as possible. I didn't know what happen afterwards, perhaps I have gone two more blocks away for our walk took longer than I expected. We were lost for a while and gladly I did not get out of EV again. Finally, I saw our street sign and I was happy knowing that we are on our way home to rest and put my baby to bed.

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas

We watched this movie last night with my husband and I thought it was superb. I can't stop thinking about how tragic the movie ending was and somehow hoping the movie was longer for I wasn't satisfied how they ended the movie just like that. This is about friendship of two different races, German and a Jew which is shown in the picture which in the end they both died together.

I can somehow relate to the movie as it involves human emotion about hatred, war, friendship and hope. To make a better understanding of this movie, try to read the synopsis below and might as well rent the DVD, watch it for yourself. I can guarantee you, you will love it.

"Lines may divide us, but hope will unite us"

Through the lens of an eight-year-old boy largely shielded from the reality of World War II, we witness a forbidden friendship that forms between Bruno, the son of Nazi commandant, and Schmuel, a Jewish boy held captive in a concentration camp. Though the two are separated physically by a barbed wire fence, their lives become inescapably intertwined. The imagined story of Bruno and Shmuel sheds light on the brutality, senselessness and devastating consequences of war from an unusual point of view. Together, their tragic journey helps recall the millions of innocent victims of the Holocaust.

She Is Two

For those who don't know, my baby just turned two last January 16 at 7:35 p.m. I really can't believe I have a two-year old baby now. Oh no amazingly how time flies so fast.

Before I know it, Jadyn will be going to school and in the years to come, she'll be noticing "BOYS" at her school. God forbid! I don't want that to happen yet but I don't think I can stop my girl from growing.

That is how life is all about, you give birth, the baby will grow, start a school life, making boyfriends, get a job and hmmmm make a family of their own.

Hey, wait a minute?? What am I talkin' about here? She is only two but then my mind seems to be so advanced.

American Idol Audition Is What I'm Into Right Now

The audition part of American Idol is what I love the most that is why I never missed a single show when it started. I'm watching it right now as in KARON and really I'm bursting out to laugh! Some people have just the guts to audition even if they know where they stand lolz!

Shameless as they are and yet add spice on the show! Wewwwwwww AI rocks! In my opinion, AI audition is the second best thing! Funnier or a lot funnier than AFV is what it is all about. Now can you blame me for liking the audition part of Idol??? hmmm..

What's Up With Me?

Nothing is up with me or with my family here. I have not been updating my blogs as I used to as I only post something when there are opportunities to make. Regardless of the thoughts I want to write here but when laziness struck me, I would just let my blog go idle. For some reason I am only motivated to write when opps are given to me. Clueless as I am, opps seem aloof these days inspite of the fact that most of the bloggers are being flooded with plenty to make.

Well, so much ranting. Let me just write a quick note telling my readers/visitors thank you for peeking into me today, yesterday and the past days. Oh ciao now folks gotta start reading this Twilight book that my husband gave to me last night. Duh, I may be too late to start reading the first book but I'm gonna go ahead and read it anyway... who knows this can create a miracle on me to learn to love reading books.
