Very Brown

This is my baby girl in the picture here. As you can see she's got brown hair now which I like so much. I got very dark hair and my baby has a brown hair for a change and for sure I am gonna love it more and more. I don't wanna cut it so it won't get dark. Her brown hair will make her standout among the rest of the kids in the Philippines.

Happy and Sad Faces

It is interesting how our little girl can change her facial expressions from extreme emotions to a super jolly and happy one. I took these photos of her in two different situations. The first one below is of her sulking in the closet when I stopped her from eating too much shrimp paste. The second one is of her showing her happy face with her new clown doll given to her by Jean.

These photos are just few of my favorites because there is so much to tell in these shots here. They are so cute, do you agree?

Pigtails

I am glad baby girl loves the pigtail style for her hair. It's annoying to see her hair falls down to her eyes and mouth when I'm feeding her. The little girl doesn't seem bothered with her hair but I am. It was Marcella who started doing pigtails to her and that's what I do now to keep Jadyn's hair from eyesight.

I like it that way for it looks neat and comfortable.

Feeding The Birds

Pictures below are of my baby girl feeding the birds. It was her first experience to really get close to the birds and feed them. I was happy and excited seeing Jadyn having so much fun doing what she did. It was quite an experience for her, I bet. Several times before she would try to catch or touch a bird in our backyard but never successfully did that. Birds are too fast and fly away from her.

Mini Me

I am certain that Jadyn is my mini me in many ways except that she has got lighter skin than me. I definitely see myself in her especially when she cross her eyebrows and sulk.

Worry

I have no clue as to what to give to my baby these days. She is becoming more and more difficult to feed. Sometimes she would only eat once a day plus milk and that put a burden in my head because I am not used of her eating once a day. Filipinas eat three times a day and so does Jadyn. I try giving her food from time to time but all she could eat is just a tiny bit of it and the rest will be fed to the dog. As usual she'd put the food in her mouth and spit out to the floor.

I worry that she might get sick or something. Oh Jadyn! The only thing you can do to make your mommy happy is be healthy and eat good. She cannot eat good food but she can foods that are unhealthy like chips, yogurt, cereal etc.... very American and very light kind that I don't think can sustain her needed nutrients for her growth.

Jadyn's First Trip To The Dentist

Jadyn's first trip to the dentist took place today at one in the afternoon. It didn't take us long at that place though because the dentist didn't do anything in her teeth except just to look at them and see how bad is the discoloration of teeth she has. He was saying that it is nothing major. It cannot go worse either except that we need to be persistent in brushing her teeth.

She is set to see the dentist again in six months time to take a better look at her teeth. I hope in 6 months time she'll let the dentist see through her teeth so the discoloration will be taken care of before it's gonna go bad. The reason we brought our baby to the office is that we have a hard time brushing her teeth every night. She wouldn't allow us to do so but I am stubborn and wouldn't let my baby rule over me even if she insist I would still brush her teeth.

Jadyn In The Basket

Whenever we are at Lowe's or Home Depot, Jadyn always finds ways to entertain herself while being there. One of which is getting into empty big baskets in the lower shelf.

She was having a hard time getting inside but despite of that she made it inside and got her head bumped on to the shelf for many times. I think this baby is just being silly, good thing though none of the staff had ever seen her do that, or else I'll be in trouble.

My Little Meow Meow

This is my little girl in her Little Kitten attire in halloween day. She went for trick or treating without me being there with her because at that time we were so busy moving our stuff to our house. I felt bad about I couldn't be there with her. Thanks to Rose, my friend for she brought my baby to her house and did the thing I was supposed to do. Cute is my Jadyn, isn't she?

Silly Girl

I can best describe my JADYN as monkey Georgia. So curious and loves climbing on his dada's desk. tODAY she was just like a monkey, I turned my head away from her and one moment I know she was up there messing around the telephone and the answering machine. If she doesn't do that she'll be on her high chair or in my chair trying to be so silly!

Little Kitten Caught In Action

My Jadyn is into everything now. From trying on my clothes, shoes and playing with my purses to putting on lip moisturizer or lipstick. Last night she found where my lipstick and eye pencils were and so she started messing with them in our bedroom. I didn't know how to react upon seeing Deden acting as if she was putting mama's lipstick on with matching action action pas baba!

I couldn't be mad at her. All I could do was drew her face transforming her into a sweet naughty little kitten as my revenge of her act. I don't want her playing with my cosmetics for I don't want her to learn applying make up at a very early age you know? Practice Makes Perfect

My baby has been trying to put on her slippers for days now and each passing day she is getting good at it. It is really true that practice makes perfect. I take it as an example as I learn how to drive, as long as I keep practicing, I will get better and eventually driving on my own.

Lil Granny

Can you guess how old this little granny in the picture? I call her my little granny for the fact that she is my baby yet looking very much like that of a hundred-year old granny next door.

Jadyn, my silly girl loves messing around adults' stuff like her dada's reading glasses. Even if they're not appropriate for her age, dada put them on to her for the sake of satisfying her curiosity. When Jadyn tried them on, she just loving them and she posed real quick for a photo shoot.

American-Bisaya Baby Eating Dried Fish

My Jadyn never ceased to surprise me. Everyday she shows new interesting tricks to me. Tricks and new development that really amaze me as a mother. She loves the water, playing with dirt, she hates insects especially cockroach and most of all behaves very well and plays with her dog when I want her to.

Last night was just amazing. I was grilling my dried fish outside, she was with me and about to put it in a container then she pointed to the fish and said "AM, AM ESH!" Meaning, I want dried fish. Huh it was still on the grill and very hot but she couldn't wait for me to give some of the fish.

Haayy baby, you truly have Pinay blood in your system because you can take my foods no matter how nasty they are.

Teeth Versus Tit

I burst out to laugh when I asked my baby, "Deden, where are your teeth?" then she pointed her TIT in two fingers. I have been teaching her little by little the different parts of the body including the tit. Hahahaha katawaa naku kay ang ngipon nahimo na noon ug totoy with matching nice innocent look pa kaayo nakatudlo sa iya totoy bataa!

It was my first time to introduce to her the TEETH so she thought that I meant to let her find the tit. Hehehe silly innocent baby. Or it could be me adding malicious thoughts to what had happened? Or I may have mispronounced the word when I asked her? Who knows.. Ah basta oi makabuang ako baby nga inosente!

Now Able To Communicate With Us

I am amazed of the idea that our baby is growing smarter everyday. She is only 16 and a half months old but she acts like 3 years old. She knows exactly what she wants and what she needs. I proudly say that she is now able to communicate with us by her alien words or by her actions.

She would try to speak to us first if she wants something, I tell you I am listening and trying to understand what she is saying but I just can't comprehend any of them because they are all strange words to me. If she get it that I don't understand her after a couple explaination that's the time Jadyn will point at something she wants or if ever she wants milk, she'd point or bring the bottle to me so I can fill it with milk. How neat she is when she do that!

I so look forward to seeing her grow more older! For now that is all I can share here and I must go. I should give myself a break because I am freaking tired now. My brain is so dead that I don't want to face my computer for the rest of the night. You all have a nice evening and thanks for dropping by here today!

An Enjoyable Ride At The Grocery Store

How'a everyone doing in this very nice Tuesday morning?

For us here, we are good. Baby is doing her morning routing which is watching her favorite educational cartoon shows on KERA while me sneaking into my computer doing my thing too

Well, anyways, just a quick update here. Attached is of my baby in a car push cart. I am glad grocery stores like Tom thumb provide a cart like this to their customers so to make our kids' shopping experience an enjoyable one.

Before we just put our baby on the cart and as she grows bit by bit, we found that she no longer enjoys riding the cart so we thought of putting her into something that she loves doing, such as in the picture.

Scrapes-- So Painful

These are shots of my Jadyn's knee when she just got these scrapes from stumbling down the cemented pathway in the front yard. She loves walking a lot now and that she is too naive to care about getting wounded or scrapes when she fall down.

I put the blame into myself because I didn't put on her jammies before putting her outside so that is what happened to her. Shame on me, I'm a mother and for that I am not protective enough of my one and only Deden.

The Filipina In Her

Aren't we filipinas love chewing on the bone in every fish and meat we eat? For me, my answer to that is a big YES. Nothing is more delicious to foods with bones in it. Wala lami man gud if bukog way apil.

Same with my baby. Although I don't give her fish with bones because that is way too dangerous hehe. But when we eat pork/ beef grilled steak, she would grab the bones from our hands and mind you guys she could chip on it for minutes. Never will she let go of the bone kundi makalabira maayo! Hamoy hamoyan ba maayo!

In My Arms, She Chose To Sleep

I was in cloud 9 when my baby chose to continue sleeping on my chest. She was sleeping on the bed when we were at my FIL'S place and moment later she moved, stood up and continued sleeping on top of me. It was such an amazing moment with me and my anak. I can't describe how it felt, it was like a mixed of emotion for me.

Man, I never really regreted having a child of my own because of the simple pleasures she bring to me, to us... just incomparable. Try to have a child of your own so you can also experience what I've been through..
