Drawing Near

Our 6th wedding anniversary is drawing near. It will be three days from now. Oh really? We are on our six years in marriage now? Yeah, right..yet I'm still smiling. I am living the life I pictured it to be ten years ago. One more baby and that formal theme I wrote in my journal when I was in highschool will come true.

How blessed and fortunate I am. Good thing I didn't give up on my goals otherwise I'll be nowhere to be found right now. Texas...is where I belong with my dear family! This is my destiny!

Making Up With Him

I WOWed my husband when I cooked him this big meal for his breakfast. This was during his day off, I sort of make it up with him every weekend because I don't usually cook his dinner when he comes home from work. For some reason I am not used to that ever since I came here to join him.

Here in this photo are scrambled eggs (3 pieces) with tomatoes and onions, two pieces of bread (toasted) and two eggrolls. Guess he must be hungry that time for he ate it all!

At Home With My Family

In this cold dark night all we could do is be ourselves, do the things we like to do. I'm here in my computer, Jadyn is going round and round in the bedroom listening to her dada's loud music and hubby is working on the doors, putting them up and installing new henge. Times like these should be appreciated for we are all home united as a family.

Though it is kind of slow night for me, somehow thankful enough for my lovely family being together. Nothing is more important in this world for me but seeing my family happy and healthy all the time.

Heart Melting

My husband isn't here tonight. We will be left sleeping alone in our cozy bed without the man of the house. That is ok though, we will be alright. I just have to accept that there are times when the hubby needs to be away to check on his father 5 hours away. Anyways, we communicate through text and his last text for tonight is below.

lewis sanborn: Checking in my room now. I love my wife. And baby girl.

This is too personal to share but what can I do? He just made my heart melts for telling me that he loves me and our baby. He still loves me despite of my flaws and shortcomings. Even if I keep breaking his things, he can still say those magic words in text or right in front of me. Thank God for such a wonderful husband I have. Now enough of this ka dramahan, we shall go to bed and hoping to wake up alright, feeling good tomorrow. CIAO everybuddy.

Quite A Productive Day

I have done all my chores I ought to do today. The weather was cooperating with me that it allowed me to go outside with the baby to plant some of my tulip bulbs I have for a long time. I wasn't able to plant around the other pecan tree though because I was out of soil, couldn't drive and I just wait for my husband this weekend for another sack of soil.

But despite of that, I felt I accomplished something for I was able to do the planting while the temperature was fair. I was able to water some of the plants in the backyard as well. The rest of chores were followed when I was done outside. I did my dishes, finished the laundry (now need to fold 'em), showered myself and the baby!

Meanwhile, I'm relaxing here on my computer. In few minutes I'll be outta here and do other things.

The Filipina In Her

I have never seen my husband drinking soup directly from the bowl. I think it's not an American way to do such thing. Only Filipinas can do that. I'm a filipina myself and I must admit when there is no one around I do the same as what my baby Jadyn does in the picture. It only shows the filipina side in her.

She is fairly mixed American and Filipina baby. She has attributes that she got from her daddy as well as from me. One best example of which is the photo below.

Little Kitten Caught In Action

My Jadyn is into everything now. From trying on my clothes, shoes and playing with my purses to putting on lip moisturizer or lipstick. Last night she found where my lipstick and eye pencils were and so she started messing with them in our bedroom. I didn't know how to react upon seeing Deden acting as if she was putting mama's lipstick on with matching action action pas baba!
I couldn't be mad at her. All I could do was drew her face transforming her into a sweet naughty little kitten as my revenge of her act. I don't want her playing with my cosmetics for I don't want her to learn applying make up at a very early age you know? The photos below are the results of last night's LITTLE KITTEN CAUGHT IN ACTION show!

Practice Makes Perfect

My baby has been trying to put on her slippers for days now and each passing day she is getting good at it. It is really true that practice makes perfect. I take it as an example as I learn how to drive, as long as I keep practicing, I will get better and eventually driving on my own.

My Hated Chores

I don't mind doing any other chores at home except these two, washing dishes and folding clean clothes. They take too long to finish you know but heck no one is around to do these things in my behalf. Heck, the most dreaded chores I wanna do yet I keep doing them everyday of my existence here on Earth, why is that?

When my husband arrived home from work tonight, the dryer was still running but the clothes that were drying were almost done and so he just stopped the dryer from running and finished the job himself. I was planning of folding the clothes tomorrow but what he did? He took them out and laid them all on the bed.

When I went to the bedroom to get something, all I could find was the clothes neatly scattered on our bed and I uttered, I am not ready to do this tonight, why did he bring 'em all in here??? Duhhhhh had no choice but did the folding of our clothes. I felt relieved afterwards for I don't have to think about it tomorrow.

Huge Blessing!

Today we received a huge blessing in the mail that came in the form of check. Although we already expected that it's gonna come in the mail soon but still it brought a surprise to me knowing that it's a huge amount extra for us. The money amounting to $1,250 is sent to us from an oil drilling company as paid up oil and gas lease for the next couple of years. God is soooo good indeed!

We've had tough times with our finances the past weeks and so this must be the exchange of such money that came out from our pocket. First my husband had to pay for my braces in full amount, then my baby got sick and visited the hospital and several doctor appointments which used up all our medical savings. Weeww thank you Lord for the blessing!

A Wonderful Day To Be Thankful For

Such a fine morning when I woke up today. The weather is nice, sun was up already and I feel good although I feel a bit sore in my thighs and waist. Generally, I can rate my day a really good day so far. Thank you Lord for giving me/us another wonderful day to celebrate life!

Not only I am alive today but You also gave me two good opportunities to do and thankfully I am done doing them before my baby wakes up. I keep my fingers crossed that they are going to be accepted right away because it hurts when a big payout opp gets rejected. Finally, after a long time of not getting any paid posts from my favorite money making site, I got two today and each cost 15 bucks! Good enough to sustain my family's financial support for the next month.

I am happy now and yeah let me finish this entry now and let me go back to my fun virtual farming! By the way, thank you guys for dropping your ECs today!

It Feels Good To Sweat

Today is a cool day. We started our day by a walk around the neighborhood by half an hour. I brought with me my baby Deden and our dog Chichai. We had fun yet sweaty morning here and that was good. It feels good to sweat especially in the morning because it invigorates my lazy and weak body due to not exercising for couple of weeks now.

After getting sweaty, I treat my baby to her mini pool in the backyard to cool off and played with her a bit. I then took her inside the house and fed the baby her brunch. Now she is almost knock out and about to hit the bed for a nap. I am also getting sleepy here and when I am done my EC dropping I'll go take a nap as well. You all have a fun day and thank u for dropping by my blog today.

First Seizure Episode

I've never seen anyone having seizures. I do have several siblings younger than me and I looked after them when they were babies but never did I see them having one. My baby is running a fever of 101.8 since yesterday morning. All day she was just fine, playing when her temperature go down and want to be curled up when she is hot, that's it.

At almost eleven pm last night, I signed out from the computer and I had her with me sleeping in my arms, I put her down but then moments later she woke up and asking for UP. I took her out the crib, brought to the bed and guess what happen? It was the scariest and weirdest thing happened to her. I was still holding her in my arms when her eyes suddenly went to the left as if she was looking at something but she didn't, her whole body went limp, right hand was jerking and stayed like that for 2 minutes according to my husband.

I was panicking, we were both panicking because it was her very first time she had seizures. I told my husband we need to go to the hospital right away. So we landed in ER at Cook Children's Hospital at past 11 and yes she was still running a high fever. Geeeez it was all so scary and hope it won't happen again.

We made it home at almost two o'clock, so sleepy and worry no more because the doctor assured us it is common for children ages 6 months to three years to have seizures. Now I am like a dead person up and awake but floating because I got no enough sleep from last night.

American-Bisaya Baby Eating Dried Fish

My Jadyn never ceased to surprise me. Everyday she shows new interesting tricks to me. Tricks and new development that really amaze me as a mother. She loves the water, playing with dirt, she hates insects especially cockroach and most of all behaves very well and plays with her dog when I want her to.

Last night was just amazing. I was grilling my dried fish outside, she was with me and about to put it in a container then she pointed to the fish and said "AM, AM ESH!" Meaning, I want dried fish. Huh it was still on the grill and very hot but she couldn't wait for me to give some of the fish.

Haayy baby, you truly have Pinay blood in your system because you can take my foods no matter how nasty they are.

Teeth Versus Tit

I burst out to laugh when I asked my baby, "Deden, where are your teeth?" then she pointed her TIT in two fingers. I have been teaching her little by little the different parts of the body including the tit. Hahahaha katawaa naku kay ang ngipon nahimo na noon ug totoy with matching nice innocent look pa kaayo nakatudlo sa iya totoy bataa!

It was my first time to introduce to her the TEETH so she thought that I meant to let her find the tit. Hehehe silly innocent baby. Or it could be me adding malicious thoughts to what had happened? Or I may have mispronounced the word when I asked her? Who knows.. Ah basta oi makabuang ako baby nga inosente!

Tickles My Veins

This is my birthday card I received from my husband yesterday. It may be looking simple but the writings and thoughts itself tickle my veins. Why not? That big WOW print in it is just flattering.

Huh I didn't know that I was a WOW! irresistible babe for him before.. heck I was just a twiggy dark-skinned girl hoping to find that one American man to grow old with forever! Lucky is me for I found one five years ago.

3 Different Occasions To Celebrate Tomorrow

Tomorrow is gonna be a very very special day for me, for both me and my husband as well. First is that, it will be my 26th birthday and our 5th engagement anniversary. It was during my 21st birthday when my (fiance then) now my husband kneeled down right before my parents and other relatives and popped that very awaited question to me the, "Anne, will you marry me?" sort of thing you know?

Who would have thought that I could get engaged on my birthday? For me it was just magical and full of drama! I was speechless and in a state of shock (jowk). Hahaha as if I couldn't open my mouth to give him back my sweet YES. Then it's Father's Day! Not just an ordinary day for all dads out there because it is time best time to be thankful for all dads who brought their children into this world. I am talking about the responsible ones here eh! Other men don't deserve to be called a "daddy" if they are neglecting or not looking after their kids.

So we have a kid therefore, my husband is a father so it's his big day tomorrow too. Our plan is to get myself a crab since I crave for it now and feed our bulging stomach to its content. We already agreed going to that specific place we both like. It's not an unusual thing for us to do during occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc. but it's gonna be special for sure.

Photos will come later. For now I need to end this post right here and say good night to yah all!

My 26th Birthday Is Coming Up!

Yep, it's gonna be another year adding up to my age this weekend. I'll be turning 26 in June 21. Ah that's also a Father's Day if I'm not mistaken. This is gonna be double celebration for my family.

However, I don't plan of doing anything on that day. It's just my birthday you know? Nothing special hehehe. Too old for that candle blowing and balloon thing. I might just go to church in Sunday and thank God for another fruitful year of my life. Who knows my husband will treat us for a fine dinner in a restaurant, let's see what's gonna happen then.

I do have a card that I am ready to give to my husband on Father's Day so basically I am just waiting for that very day to come so I can hand it to him. It's a simple but neat card, good enough to have something for my special one and only husband.

Long But Fun Afternoon

It's our second day here in San Antonio and so far so good and veryyyyy hot! We are going back to Fort Worth tomorrow as we have another schedule set for Saturday. Well I don't care much whether we stay here long or not as long as I have my laptop with me, that is not a problem at all.

Anyways, I am glad we are here and see my FIL once again. I see that he got skinner more than ever, he is kinda pale (for not being able to see the sun or not being able to walk outside the nursing home always) and I feel pity for him. If there is something I can do to help him get out of that boring Freedom house sometime, I would help him in all my might.

On the other note, after joining dinner with my good FIL, we headed to downtown San Antonio before sundown for a good 45-minute boat ride. We've visited the historical place twice already but it was our first time to ride the barge all three of us. It was fun and I got tons of photos to share next time.

Oh cia cia got to end this post now, I am feeling tired I must take my beauty rest now. To all who dropped their ECS yesterday and today thank you guys. I will make up with you all once we get to our lovenest. Good night everyone!

Ready To Drive Now

Lately I have been bugging my husband about finding a driving school for me because I feel like I am ready to get behind the wheels now. Having a car is not a problem, my white car has been waiting for me for three years and since then I hadn't have enough courage to drive it. It was his gift for me on our second wedding anniversary.

This could be the time I can use my car and drive it somewhere fun with my baby. Lalabs told me to wait for my braces to finally be placed in my mouth before I can go to a driving school but I can no longer wait for it. Sooooo feeling anxious learning how to drive now! Please lalabs hear me!
