We watched this movie last night with my husband and I thought it was superb. I can't stop thinking about how tragic the movie ending was and somehow hoping the movie was longer for I wasn't satisfied how they ended the movie just like that. This is about friendship of two different races, German and a Jew which is shown in the picture which in the end they both died together.I can somehow relate to the movie as it involves human emotion about hatred, war, friendship and hope. To make a better understanding of this movie, try to read the synopsis below and might as well rent the DVD, watch it for yourself. I can guarantee you, you will love it.

Through the lens of an eight-year-old boy largely shielded from the reality of World War II, we witness a forbidden friendship that forms between Bruno, the son of Nazi commandant, and Schmuel, a Jewish boy held captive in a concentration camp.
