Something Worthwhile

I have done something worthwhile today, I shall say. I am tired of being bored. For the whole 3 months I haven't done anything in this house except be lazy and use the computer all day long. I have enough of it, it gets really tiring to the point that I almost puke everytime I go to bed due to too much computer. Imagine you sit on the computer all day long and do that for three whole months.

I felt guilty because my husband is the one working hard to raise us and when he gets home after a ten-hour shift, he is the one cooking his dinner. I can only fix his meal during his day off (just breakfast) and other than that I am of no use in this house. I felt so worthless.

Three days now that I raised my butt up and did something. The last two days I dug up some boxes in our dining area and put the stuff in their proper places. This afternoon before sundown, I made use of myself by cleaning the interior of our white car. It just arrived home from the auto shop therefore its got some fair amount of dust inside so I cleaned it, wipe the dust off and vacuumed the rugs. Now it's clean, I hope my husband will be pleased of what I've done.

Fine Linens

I really have to plan on buying new bedsheets soon because the one we have for summer are looking old and stained. No matter how bleach them, they no longer have those fine color as they used to be. Upon surfing the internet just minutes ago I found this matouk brand by John Matouk sold at www.finelinens.com. Matouk brand is named after its founder stated above whose mission was to give American homemakers ready access to the world’s finest, most luxurious linens. At finelinens.com by the way carries all Matouk products in several different lines for you to choose from.

Translation Services

The Miss Universe beauty pageant is the grandest beauty event in the whole world. It was shown few nights ago and I missed it. Although I have seen short video clips on Facebook of the show where Miss Philippines focused on her swim wear and question and answer portion but it seems it's not enough for me. I so wanted to watch the full show but unfortunately I didn't know what channel or what day it was aired.

So anyway, I am bringing this up because the Miss Philippines could have won the pageant only if she answered her question right. Her answer was irrelevant to the question and the question itself was nonsense. Some are saying that next time the Philippines should hire translation services so the contestant can understand the questions better and I on my mind thinking that we don't need that. Filipinos understand and speak English better than any nonspeaking English nations in the world so why would they need a translator anyway?

The country only needs a translator if the contestant cannot speak nor understand English. Translation services are commonly used during pageants, tourism and others.

If you need one just try visiting www.translia.com and see what they can do to help you and so you will find some information about translation services.

Orthodontist Appointment

I lost count as to how many visits we have done to my orthodontist since I had these braces on over a year ago. Honestly, I don't feel like going there anymore, it's not that they are bad...matter of factly my orthodontist, Dr. Mik is such a nice guy. He maintains his relationship to his clients in a friendly way and I love that for I feel comfortable whenever I come to his office, his staff are good as well.

However, I feel I have enough going to that office due to the fact that his good looking face will peek and tweak my mouth each time I go see my ortho. Besides, I am so tired of wearing these brackets and wires in my mouth. I am so anxious getting rid of them anytime soon. Most people who haven't tried wearing braces would probably think it's cool to have them but little do they know it's too much hassle having them. It is so hard to clean in some spots of my teeth leaving some particles of food in between the teeth. If I am not keen enough in cleaning them, it will stay there for hours. That of course contributed to having a bad breath.

Another thing I dislike having these braces is I develop canker sore sometimes. There'll be a time I get two or three big sores in one time so imagine how painful that is. Sigh! I have few more months left before I could take these out. After that I will be wire-free plus I get to have straightened teeth. So I have to endure the hassles having my braces on for now...

Favorite Talk Show

Guest post by Stan Atkins

Rachel Ray has to be my new favorite talk show that I watch on since getting hooked up with Florida satellite TV deals. Her personality is wonderful and she is very down to earth so she is so easy to relate with. It is like to having an hour with your best friend.

Her show combines interviews with intriguing guests from movie stars to politicians. She often has guests that are on that specialize in fashion. Many times the fashion segments are showing you how to get a designer look for a lot less money. Medical consultants are on the show that gives information about beauty tips and other common medical ailments and treatments. These segments are always popular and very informative.

Most importantly, the Rachel Ray show also depicts the cooking aspect that Rachel Ray is so famous for. She usually makes a recipe for dinner per episode. These recipes are always quick, easy and great tasting. To me a daytime show that includes interviews with a great guest list, special segments about fashion and medical advice and then great cooking tips is awesome. Rachel Ray's show is the recipe for a great hour of entertainment!

Hello Kitty Bag

I spotted this hello kitty bag on e-bay the other day. I seldom see bags so cute like this that it caught my eyes at first glance. I could have bought it if it's available in the US but to my dismay this comes straight from China plus I need to pay for the 20 bucks shipping if ever I decide to buy this bag. I am not willing to spend that much money on shipping alone because it's not just practical at all. So cute is this bag, I am lovin' it!!!!!!!!!!

To Lose Weight, We Start by Preparing Before Grocery Shopping

The article written by Adrian Hickman

Because my husband and I are in the process of losing weight, I like to be prepared before I go shopping for groceries. First, I'll look at my calendar to determine which nights that I'll be able to cook, we'll need leftovers, and we'll be dining out. I determine the number of servings we'll need for the week to avoid buying too much fresh food that will eventually just go bad. Then I plan our meals. I like to try new recipes , so I pull out the ones I've collected and choose one. Then I decide which past favorites to make that week as well.

Once that's done, it's time to make my grocery list. Any ingredients I need for these recipes, but don't already have, go on that list. Then I add other groceries we need for breakfasts and lunches. I always have breakfast bars on hand for days that I am running late. Otherwise, I tend to eat scrambled eggs, peanut butter toast, or cereal. For lunch on weekdays, we eat leftovers or frozen meals. In addition, I like to add a piece of dark chocolate, a serving of almonds, and some fruit to my lunch. If we are low on any of these items, they go on the list as well. Lastly, I set my adt safewatch alarm and off I go!
