This was my dinner last night. My husband grilled it for me but I was the one preparing it. For those who like salmon fillet and want to have a quick fix of the fish, here's what you do... sprinkle a bit of salt on to the fish, ground pepper and a green onion, lather with mayonnaise and put in tin foil. It should be done with in 7 or ten minutes. Yum!

Laptop Memory
How happy I am to chat with my family again. I haven't chatted with them for a long time due to the fact that their laptop stopped working for five months. My cousin's husband tried to repair it twice already and the last time he looked into it, he took out the other memory for it was already unusable. My brother went home from the Caribbean and he had it repaired. Or was it my father who paid for the repair? Good thing they buy memory for their laptop and now it is fixed. That is good for it saves me from calling international every month. I'd only spend ten bucks every month to call them, I know it isn't much but I am trying to save some money as you all know, I am going home soon in 8 weeks.

My First Crush
Call me shameless for posting people here from the past. It's just I am overwhelmed of how a miracle moved people's lives through the use of a Facebook networking site. I never expected that I could find them on the internet after we parted ways 15 years ago. One boy or kid that stand out among the rest was Romulus Vidal who was my "first crush" ever.
He was the creature I had a crush on when I first noticed the opposite sex. I was only ten years old back then in my 4th grade I noticed him to be so cute, tidy looking and most of all well-behaved boy in school. Fifth grade we became classmates that is when my crush on him got stronger....my feelings for him remained as deep as I thought until we graduated grade school or elementary school. But during those three years I was infatuated with Romulus, I knew that he couldn't get a crush on me too for I wasn't the type of girl who can turn heads once boys see me. I was very dark, very skinny and unattractive back then...
But then there was this girl named Ivy Monterola who looked pretty in the eyes of many because she had lighter skin, beautiful face, knows how to carry her clothes well and it was pretty much a taboo in school that my crush got a crush on her...and she liked him too...how awful lolz..
Romulus was often referred to us or commonly known in school as "Rustom Padilla" look alike....
After our elementary graduation I haven't seen/heard anything from him until last night. One of our schoolmates tagged me Romulus' photos from her friend's list and voila! He still got the shy smile I fell in love with but he is darker and not so attractive anymore. I bet he's got breakouts or zits on his face now...
Perhaps it's true....I remember the boy but I don't remember the feeling anymore...after all it was just a crush...
Perhaps it's true....I remember the boy but I don't remember the feeling anymore...after all it was just a crush...
Well, those memories I have had during my early years in this world were precious and it is always be a part of my being..until I die...

Door Locks
Soon enough we need to change our door locks. Jadyn knows how to open our front door already when the screen door is used. She saw me once unlocking it and now she does it herself. I keep the front door open during the day to let the fresh and cooler air in. With that being said, I am afraid that she would just sneak out one day without me knowing it. I hope not because I don't feel safe in this neighborhood anymore. A sex offender has been reported and is living in the same street we live and take note, he is just four houses down. So I have to keep an eye of my Jadyn all the time to avoid her getting hurt. God forbid!

Last Major Purchase
I bought my older brother this pair of brand new Adidas Superstar shoes as my present to him. He asked for it several months ago with matching pinahangyo so I couldn't resist but grant him his wish.
While I can have anything I want in my life, I would like to play the role of being someone who can provide little things that my family wants as long as I can afford to buy it, I am willing to do the best possible way I can.
Anyway, I purchased this pair of shoes online using my Tropicana points I have accumulated throughout these past months we've been drinking this specific juice brand. It only take me 4 points to be subtracted from my total points and it gave me such a sweet deal on this one.
I chose to buy it on Adidas online store for the reason that I cannot drive and if I bought it in the mall, I doubt if they'll credit me of my points which then gave me a $10 dollar off plus free shipping. Its original price was $65 minus ten dollars that would be 55 bucks.
It would have been nearly 100 dollars if I didn't use my coupon for I had to pay for the shipping which would cost me 5 bucks plus tax. I had to pay for the tax of course but I only paid a total of 59.96 dollars on this pair of shoes. Sweet deal, isn't it? I hope though that it's gonna be my last major purchase for I'm really trying to save up some money now...

Going to a Professional Football Game
Guest post contributed by Teodoro Martin
Most people enjoy going to professional football games for the sport and the action. I, on the other hand, go for the food. I love concession stand food so much, it is near being considered and addiction. Hot dogs and beer on tab, in my eyes, is better than filet mignon.
The cold air and the hot food adds a little bit of adventure to my dining experience, along with wrestling through the crowds and keeping yourself, and your food, in one piece. I have tried many times to recreate the same experience at home while watching football on my satellite TV from www.tvbydirect.com, but my hot dogs and beer are just never as good. I don't know if it is the environment that makes them taste so delicious or just the challenge. Either way, I would battle through angry crowds to get my concession stand meal every day if I had the opportunity to do so.
I may pack on the pounds as hot dogs and beer is definitely not the healthiest diet, but it would be worth every ounce of fat gained. Maybe getting through the crowds and repeatedly climbing up and down the bleachers cancels our some of my ridiculous, game time calorie intake, but for some reason I am sure the two things so not equal out at the end of the day.
